When buying anything, and silver bullion is no different, you need to keep in mind the concept of 'value'. How you determine value is different for each and every investor. Ask yourself several times why you are buying silver bullion in the first place. Anyone who buys silver bullion, especially for the first time, must keep this point in mind. Remember whether you're approaching silver bullion dealers from strictly an investment standpoint or you're a serious collector of silver bullion you'll be able to gauge value in your own special way; don't bother understanding what silver bullion value means to you and chances are you'll get gouged. So take your silver bullets and aim your sights at the bull's-eye because if you don't know your purpose for buying you'll probably miss the mark altogether.
It seems a clear, simple analogy would be beneficial at this point and what does the vast majority of us know about and have experience with in the modern era?
The answer is shopping for a car. Whether you're a first time buyer seeking your first ride, looking for a sedan for the family or collecting vintage British sport coupes out of personal interest as much as profit then you'll know what I'm talking about.
When you're deciding upon the best silver bullion you can buy, the selection process is very similar to that of choosing a car; what it comes down to is defining 'value' in your terms and identifying the factors that allow you to create that value when you buy silver bullion.
Some key factors to keep in mind creating your definition of silver bullion value:
1) Should I swim in the pool?
When buying silver bullion you can opt to take delivery or buy from a general pool. What this option equates to is that you don't physically see, touch and feel your silver ingots because you're buying a concept rather than a coin. The disadvantage from a collector's point of view is that the investor does not physically own his or her investment whereas from a general purchaser's perspective in terms of storage limitations the advantage once again is that they do not physically own their investment.
Look at it in terms of buying a car. Are you a salesperson interested in leasing a company car with functionality being as high up your list as appearance? You may want to have a variety of models at your disposal and have the flexibility to exchange and return them to the dealer. Or are you that serious collector of rare, vintage European roadsters who loves to store them in his/her garage and appreciate their uniqueness and aesthetic beauty.
2) Bars versus Coins.
When selecting which form of silver bullion to buy keep in mind it that you can buy in both bar and coin form. If you're looking at silver as a standard part of a steady investment strategy then bars may be the Japanese autos of the car buying world; as reliable and convenient as Honda and Toyota these consistent performers have ease and convenience of resale and come with certain expectations in regard to sell-on value and appreciation; the wise investor realizes that 1,000 oz bars must be redeemed in entirety, so when dealing with a few thousand ounces or less a combination of the smaller denominations are preferable.
Coins on the other hand are more of an adventure, while not as random as nuggets that really require a sophisticated eye, they become as much about the joy of ownership as a straight investment. When an impressive collection of silver coins is amassed by the owner and both structure and elegance are on display value is achieved on two levels however keep in mind the importance of selecting the right kind of coin; for example opinions differ over the merit of Nationally minted rounds, some people suggest that the special design and recognition increase their market demand while others argue that the extra expense is not justified in terms of greater resale value.
If you're the kind of person who might consider owning a classic European sports car maintained in 'mint' condition and might even drive it once in a while this option would definitely appeal to you.
3) Generic versus Recognized Mints.
When buying rounds the options are generic, semi-generic, well known minted and nationally minted. What it comes down to once again is sell-on value. In terms of buying a car it shouldn't be a problem to sell a quality pre-owned generic model back to the dealer and similarly most precious metal dealers will buy any minted silver without question. Coin dealers will take generic minted silver bullion off your hands no questions asked but everyone recognizes that just as cars from GM, Hyundai, Volvo, Acura, Lexus, and Mercedes Benz will be appraised differently that silver bullion will also be looked upon differently by both coin dealers and independent collectors alike depending on the fame and prestige of the source mint. Also for rare and unusual items in both the world of cars and coins realize that individual collectors with an eye to particular taste may be willing to a pay a premium for silver bullion ingot from respected, internationally recognized mints.
Usually it comes down to a trade off between lower fees and higher resale value since when buying semi-generic, widely known, and nationally minted silver bullion the dealer will charge a higher fee as the recognition factor of the mint increases respectively.

What Happens If A Fish Dies In A Big Tank With A Lot Of Fish?
I have always been wondering. I have trouble if one of my fish dies behind a plant or something, but what do people that have like a good size tank, with a lot of plants, and a lot of fish? Do they count every single one, and check for what's missing, or do they just let it be? Isn't it bad for the water for dead fish to stay in it? Thanks I'm not in this situation, I just always wondered...
Thanks
If the tank is big and the fish that dies is small, it really won't even affect the tank. if there is other fish , sometimes they will just eat dead fish before the owner knows it's gone. this is where it pays to have scavengers in the tank such as snails to clean up the waste in the tank. If you have a large amount of fish or schools of fish then, no, you don't even count how many you have!

There is local fishing and then there is something a bit more exotic. In this case, we are talking about Aruba fishing.
If you can imagine the world of fishing as a straight line, sitting on the banks of a small farm pond with a cane pole and a bobber might represent one end. On the other end it could possible be finding yourself strapped into a seat on the back of an Aruba fishing charter trying to reel in a 70 pound marlin. Deep sea fishing is the ultimate test of the fisherman as he battles the true monsters of the deep.
Aruba is a sun drenched island that sits about 25 miles north of Venezuela. The island is low and features sandy beaches on the south side protected from the battering of the ocean currents on the other side of the island. The island is a part of a group of islands known as the Lesser Antilles. The island is a part of the Kingdom of Netherlands and the Dutch influence is still seen in the names of the towns as well as in the unique language that is spoken there.
The main industry of Aruba is tourism and it is the deep sea fishing that attracts as many tourists as the lure of the white sandy beaches. Off the Island there are abundant amounts of sailfish, white and blue marlin, wahoo, shark, barracuda, amberjack, kingfish, and blackfin and yellowfin tuna. Fishing boats can be chartered for around $250 dollars for half a day up to around $600 for a full day. The charters include everything you will need from instruction to fishing gear.
The deep sea Aruba fishing is a true test of the fisherman's skill, strength, and determination matched against the power of some of the oceans most majestic fish. Although many people only dream of such a high adventure, the truth is that the dream can become reality for a lot less expense than most imagine. One of the things that have helped bring Aruba more into the reach of the fishing enthusiast is the internet. Everything from price to optimum times can be found online and reservations can even be made right from your home.
One of the things that have made Aruba fishing trips so popular is the incredible climate. It is almost hard to find a bad day for fishing there. The motto of Aruba is "One Happy Island." This certainly is a true expression of how you will feel about your own adventure there. There is a lot to do on Aruba and a lot to see, but it is the deep sea fishing that is really the main attraction here. It may very well be the ultimate fishing thrill in the world.
Picked the wrong color for our house, what to do with the rest of the paint?
Ok, so i picked a color for my house and i dont like it at all. its kind of like a yellow, greenish, brownish thing. i only used a little and it cost over 20 dollars. Is there anyway i could return it or something?
It was either from lowes or sherwin-williams
(friend bought it)
do either of those places take returns?

I just boat a 19ft boat and i want to go trolling. i have two or three ocean rods with penn reels on them. I'm kind of an amature as far as fishing. what are some good rigs for trolling for stripe bass and blue fish? how about chunking?
if you don't have any ocean experience then take a class before go'n out ,,, you can get killed quick out there!!! but I'm guna assume your only new to the fishing part so i think i can help,,
umbrella rigs are great for blues an stripers,,around rock lines and flats works best,,,also try big hair jigs, red and black or white and red, bounce them by ripping the rod up every 3 to 5 seconds,, heres a few links to stuff Ive had good luck with, good luck!!
chunking(using cut bait) is good when anchored,,,take a rod out for a seaworm rig off to the side to catch fluke/flounder while you wait for the sripers
Would this be a setup be good for, Yellowtail, Bluefin, Yellowfin, White sea bass, swordfish, and sharks?
I have a Daiwa Sealine 600H and a Daiwa VIP tuna stick (40-130 pounds 5'6" XXheavy) the reel holds 520yds of 40#test, would this rig be able to handle all the species listed above?
I would use heavier line on that combination, probably nothing lighter than 60# and not over 100#. When matching line to the rod you should always try to fish in the middle of the rod rating, which is why I recommend 60-100#. This rod and reel would make a good trolling set up for the Tuna and Shark, and handle them easily. I have no comment on Swordfish, as they are rarely caught on rod and reel. For White Seabass you are way too heavy, they have a soft mouth so you want a rod with a softer tip and don't need heavy line. 30# works great.
If you want a good all purpose utility rod try something in the 20-50# class in either a 61/2 or 7' and fish 25-40# line. There are many rods available in this range. Try to get a reel that will load 250-300 yards of the line you want, again several good choices out there.
ok i ordered this sleeveless hoodie online and its a Size Medium. however its a bit big on me. its 100% cotton and i was wondering how much it would shrink. i dont want it to shrink to much to a point where i cant wear it. so i want to shrink it to like a size small.
it will only shrink upward not inward so good luck with that
I have a door in my office leading to another persons office. It is never used so how can I sound proof it?
Like I said it is never used, we each have our sides of the door blocked with furniture, but you can hear conversations loud and clear through the door. My work tends to produce confidential conversations in my office, how can I sound proof this door.
at any hardware store, you can buy rigid foam insulation (it is usually either pink or blue). get one sheet and cut it to the size to fit inside the door frame (should be about 3'x7').
go to a fabric store and buy a few yards of fabric that match the decor in your office. wrap the fabric around the insulation piece, and staple or glue to the back.
you cannot paint the foam, as it will disintegrate, so if you don't want to use fabric, you have to get more creative. then just push the piece of insulation into the doorway, and voila! an instant and cute sound barrier!
other things that help to block sound are: carpet, a thick blanket (maybe hung like on a spring loaded curtain rod), or anything that absorbs sound (generally soft materials).
i think the insulation and fabric should work wonders. good luck!
What's the difference between Pony and cob sized fly sheets? Which will fit my 13.0 hand horse?
If she's quite lightweight I'd go for a pony but if she's very stocky then go for cob or measure how long she is in feet and ask the maker what lenght the sheets are. My 14.1 cob is full size lol!
