Just how bad is the Pink Panther remake (steve martin)?
He did his best, but with an act like Sellers to follow, almost impossible.
He also did remake of Sgt. Bilko and that was cringe worthy.
You can't imitate the best.

he's lost weight at drastic amounts in the past, we're hoping it will be a smoother process this year since we are starting early. He loves football and we plan and helping him achieve his goals. i just don't want to make him suffer. any youth coaches out there with advice? he's 12 190lbs, max for midget team is 166.
Well, you didn't give his height, but if he really loves football. He'll lose the extra pounds. plus. at his age just some extra excercise and healthy eating, will make the pounds easily fall off. The coaches are just following the rules.

What is the name of the swim bait with a treble hook that attaches to the bottom with a magnet?
It was developed in Lake Havasu, and is supposed to be deadly on bass.
That would be a Castaic Platinum Series Swimbait I believe. I think I saw a program on FSN where they were using this bait or one similar to it with the magnetic hook attachment.
Good luck.
Have you ever found yourself asking the question, "How do I catch more bass"? This is a common question among bass anglers and in this article I'm going to provide you with some tips for catching more and bigger bass. Most of these tips can be implemented almost immediately and will help be a much more successful.
Almost anyone can go out and catch some these fish, but consistently catching numbers and larger bass is another animal altogether. This article will provide you with some great tips that will certainly help you answer the question of how do I catch more bass.
The first thing we want understand if we want to catch more bass are the fish themselves. These fish are largely predatory and like to ambush their prey. This means that they look for cover to hide behind so they can ambush their prey. This means that as anglers, we want to look for and fish near cover if we want to optimize our fishing time.
Below I will list a few baits that will help any bass fisherman catch more & bigger bass. Using any or all of these lures will help you answer the question, how do I catch more bass. When using any of these bass baits remember to make sure that your hands are free of any unnatural odors. Any scents that are on your hands will transfer to your bait. Bass have a very sensitive sense of smell and if they detect any unnatural scents, they are less apt to bite.
Live Bait - Whether you're fishing for large mouth bass is a lake or smallmouth bass in the flowing waters of a river, live bait is one of the best ways to catch more & bigger bass. Large shiners or shad are a great way to catch more bass. Live crayfish are also a great bait, but they are much harder to come by than shiners or shad in most areas. Make sure that you handle your shiners or shad properly. These bait fish need lots of oxygen and any water temperature changes in their surroundings should be minimal. They key, especially for larger bass, is that your bait is as "lively" as possible.
Realistic Lures - If you don't like using live bait, realistic fishing lures can be effective also. One of the keys to catching more and bigger bass is that you're offering looks as realistic as possible. The KickTail Minnow is a great lure choice for bass. This bait looks as much like a live shad as any lure that I've ever seen. Some other realistic lure choices would be a jointed Rapala or the Storm 'wildeye' swim bait
Plastic Worms - Plastic worms are probably the best known way to catch bass, and anyone who wants to know how to catch bass needs to study some plastic worm techniques. The Texas rig is probably the easiest plastic worm rigging method, and also quite effective. The swimming rig is another plastic worm rigging method that works quite well around boat docks or weed beds. Plastic worms are an excellent way to catch more bass.
The bottom line when it comes to catching more of these fish is to spend as much time on the water as possible. No bait or lure will impact your bass catching ability like spending time on the water practicing your craft. Although your better half might hate to hear it, the more time that you can spend bass fishing, the better.

Simms Flats Here is why I think the Broncos should NOT draft Sanchez or any QB in the first round?
They need defense. Not just warm bodies, but impact players that can come in and play. They need to get some DL and some LB. They will get a big WR with Marshall being hurt (I like the Ramses kid) and maybe, maybe, draft a QB in the 5th or 6th round in the Pats mode. Now if Orton or Simms fall flat on their face, there are at least three good QB's in next years draft. What do you think?
I am giving Orton a chance. You just can't go two years in a row sub par with a QB.
You are 100% right there isn't a quality QB in this draft in my opinion worth a first round pick. Orton should be a decent starter even though Simms has more physical gifts then Orton he hasn't proven to me yet to have the mental part of the game (trust me I lived in Austin, TX during his whole college career the kid makes to many mental mistakes). Both Simms and Ramsey as the 2 and 3 isn't bad. Denver needs defense bad and that should be there focus for the first three rounds unless a talented tightend or runningback falls into there lap. Later round draft the most talented QB on the board to compete for that third string position you might luckout and find a diamond in the rough. Go after Colt McCoy next year he is the real deal

The Oldenburg warmblood registry came about in 1923.The Oldenburg’s history lies with the native horse of Oldenburg, the Alt-Oldenburg, meaning old Oldenburg. The Alt-Oldenburg was a general type of horse, a heavier warmblood horse used for agricultural purposes and carriage work. In the 1940s and 1950s horses we replaced by tractors and cars, so the horse became a luxury rather than a requirement so there became a need for a lighter type of riding horse.
The Alt-Oldenburg was refined by infusing Thoroughbred and Anglo-Norman blood. The infusion of the French blood lines proved to be the most successful.
Modern breeding practises such as artificial insemination have allowed stallions from much further afield to be included in the Oldenburg’s meticulous breeding programme to improve the breed; the infusion of various illustrious sport horse bloodlines has made the Oldenburg one of the words leading sport horses.

History
The Holstein is thought to be the oldest of all the continental horse breeds, their ancestry can be followed back to the 13th century.
The Holstein horses were used as war horses in the middle ages, the In the 16th and 17th century there was a need for coach horses, so the heavier war horse was refined using Neapolitan, Barbary and Spanish bloodlines, to develop a lighter type of horse, that was suitable for coach work. Later on in the 19th century there was a need for a more athletic faster coach horse consequently the Holstein was improved by adding blood from Yorkshire coach horses, which themselves were high in thoroughbred blood.
In the 1960s the Holstein breed was refined once again, using Thoroughbred blood from Britain and Ireland. The breeders were also aware of the success that the breeder of the Oldenburg had when they infused French blood, as a result of the Holstein breeders also introduced French blood in to the Holstein breed.
Where can i rent fishing poles for surf fishing and whats the best charter for deep sea in Destin Fl?
going to destin on my honeymoon looking to do some surf fishing and was wondering where i might rent a rig for the week also i want to take my wife on a bottom deep sea fishing cruise. Not looking for a 5person charter but more like a 60 person big boat drop the line and reel them in. Ive done it a million times in Myrtle but never been to destin. Also what else would be fun for some young honeymooners?
Destin and South Walton County (there is no difference for most people) have a lot to offer you. The best thing I can suggest is to pick up a visitor's guide when you get here. Almost every gas station carries them and they are free.
There are a lot of charter boats in the City of Destin itself. I've never had a bad trip. I don't recommend any particular captain. Since it will just be the two of you, you shouldn't have a problem finding a charter to suit you.
As far as fishing pole rentals, I've never seen it here. However, a lot of new beach rental businesses opened up here, so someone might. The people at Half-Hitch Tackle might rent or know someone who does [(toll free) 877-369-4360 or at destin@halfhitch.com]. We also have a Bass Pro Shop if you can't find a rental agency and just insist on doing it (unless your fiance is into it, I would advise against it on your honeymoon). The locals may give you a hard time if you fish during the day. It attacts bullsharks.
Take a day and explore Highway 30-A in South Walton County. It is a beautiful drive with many shops and award-winning restaurants. Go to Cafe Tango at least one night. You will need reservations and it is PRICEY. However, it is one of the few places I paid $150.00 for a dinner for two and felt it was worth every penny. When you make your reservation, make sure to ask for directions; if you blink you will miss it.
Your wife will want to spend a day at Destin Commons and a day at the Outlet Mall. For you, Destin Commons has some good restaurants and bars in which to wait. It also has the Bass Pro Shop and a theater.
Of course, the beach is the biggest draw. Be careful along the road that runs along it. Lots of accidents and lots of children darting out between parked cars. Personally, I prefer one of hte several state parks' beaches. It costs $2.00 per car to get in, but there are fewer people and the beaches are nicer. Pay attention to the warning flags. we are starting to develope our second sandbar, which means the currents near the shore are strong and unpredictable. Don't underestimate the amount of UV rays reflected by our white sands, in addition to those reflected by the water.
And at least once while you're here, order the smoked tuna dip as an appetiser. Trust me.
I need to know how to get a sheriff hat in fallout 3. And no i cannot kill Lucas Simms. I want it on my good guy account. I have it on my bad guy account, but what self respecting villain of the wastes wears a sheriff hat?!my point exactly.thanks for the help!

Once you enter Megaton and meet Mr. Burke, who offers you a reward to blow the bomb up, go to Lucas and tell him that Mr. Burke told you to do that and follow Lucas to Burke and he will kill him for you.

fly, coarse and sea anglers and a complete range of flies, ... Kate Maclaren ... and a good quality lever operated vice, enabling the user to tie flies for ...http://www.justfish.co.uk/cgi-bin/fishing/search.pl?terms=Golden
While you may not find them displayed at art galleries, fishing flies and the tying of them, is a true art form as old as fly fishing itself. The best fishing flies aren't only interesting to look at, their combination of colors, patterns, and textiles work better to attract fish then some of the more mass produced tackle. In this article we'll take a look at some of the elements that make these fishing lures so effective.
Hackle:
Hackle, or the neck feathers from a rooster, is one of the primary elements of a fishing fly. The hackle is what gives fishing flies their organic look and feel and also their intricate color patterns. Though many people seem to think fish aren't all that bright, they sure know enough to steer clear of putting anything in their mouths that doesn't look natural or like it absolutely belongs in the water.
The patterns and movement of the hackle are difficult to match with synthetic materials. When tying your own lures or buying fishing flies online or at the tackle shop, keep a look out for lures with Whiting Farms feathers-or at least fishing flies with organic hackle versus those made with synthetic materials.
Hair and Fur:
An alternative to the hackle fly is hair and fur fishing flies. They types of hair and fur most used for fishing flies are deer, beaver, opossum, otter, fox, and badger. As with hackle, there are synthetic hair and fur fishing flies, but most fish seem to respond more favorably to natural hair and fur materials. However, there are cases such as when fishing on dark river beds, when fishing flies constructed of brightly colored synthetics are a better choice. When setting out on a fishing trip it's best to have lots of different types and colors of fishing flies to try.
Thread, Yarn, and Wire:
Thread, chenille, braid, yarn, wire, and other spooled materials are most often used to recreate the thin, tight, body of the insect. Some types used are flat waxed nylon thread, gossamer silk thread, sparkle yarn, and mohair and all of these come in natural and bright colors. No matter how natural the color of the hackle of hair, oftentimes a little spark of color in the thread and yarn is what catches the fish's attention.
Eyes:
Not all fishing fly gear have eyes, but eyes are sometimes necessary with certain types of gear, especially those that look like other fish or small mammals. Eye styles can range from the "googley" type doll eyes that kids use in projects to silver or bronze beads, to reflective stickers.
There's no one correct style or material for catching every type of fish. For this reason, it's important to make sure that you take lots of different types and colors of fishing flies with you when you try out a new spot. Even in the same river, different fish within the same species will react to different things. Half the fun of fly fishing is experimenting with new styles and techniques and finding what works.
Christmas Carols are sung mostly during the holiday season but most of us find ourselves humming them periodically during the course of the year. They come out of our mouths mindlessly and we rarely stop and wonder where they came from. Most revolve around the birth of Christ but the variety, history and popularity of Christmas carols is fascinating. Two of the most popular songs of all time are Christmas carols.
Silent Night – was a poem written by an Austrian priest, Joseph Mohr, in 1816. It became a Christmas carol on Christmas Eve in 1818 in Obendorf, Austria, a village near Salzburg, when Joseph decided he needed a carol for Christmas Eve services. He gave the poem to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber who wrote the melody in a few hours. It was composed for the guitar which was Joseph’s favorite instrument. It is the most famous Christmas carol of all time.
God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman - was first published in William Sandy’s “Christmas Carols Ancient and Modern” in 1833. The author is unknown. Most people sing and interpret this song as God Rest Ye, Merry Gentleman thinking it means for merry fellows to rest. The rest wasn’t intended to mean lie down but to keep as you are, to stay merry. Rest ye merry means to remain peacefully content and so the true meaning of the song is hoping God will bestow this contentment on the gentleman. Even Dickens misinterpreted the comma as God Rest Ye, Merry Gentleman when he refers to it in “A Christmas Carol”. Scrooge didn’t like the carol being sung at his keyhole speaking of merriment. Bah Humbug.
What Child is This - with words written to the melody Greensleeves. It originated in Elizabethan times and is mentioned by Shakespeare in “The Merry Wives of Windsor” when it is played as traitors are hanged.
Jingle Bells was written by James Pierpont in 1857 for a Thanksgiving program at his church in Boston. Everyone liked it and so it was repeated at Christmas and it has been a Christmas song ever since.
O Little Town of Bethlehem was composed by Lewis Redner with words by Bishop Phillips Brooks in 1868. The Bishop had been to the Holy Land a few years earlier and was inspired by looking down on Bethlehem from the hills of Palestine at night.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer – A twentieth century carol created for Montgomery Ward by Robert May. Montgomery Ward asked May to write a Christmas story to be given out to shoppers during the holidays. May was inspired by the tale of the Ugly Duckling and his own sad youth as a small, shy child and created the idea of the reindeer outcast shunned by the other reindeers because of his bright red nose. He wrote the story in rhyming couplets. It almost didn’t get published because his boss at Montgomery Ward thought that the public would view the red nose as caused by drinking. May eventually acquired the copyright for the song and it was recorded by Gene Autry in 1949. It is the second best selling song of all time with White Christmas being the first. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is also a popular Christmas ornament with a festive Christmas wreath hung around his neck.
You would need a sturdy boat rod, about 5 to 6 feet long. For a reel you would need a bait caster, not a spinning reel. How big a reel depends on what you are fishing for, and whether you are trolling or still fishing.
