different kinds of lures?
ok im new to fishing im 14 years old and ive been looking at some lures the main kind of fish i want are the following: catfish, trout, bass, and panfish. ive been looking at lures and ive seen things called crankbait and i hear that alot of people swear by them but what are they and what fish take hold of them and i also heard of weedless lures whats that? i would also like to know what kind of fish go for certain lures? and is there anykind of universal lure that all fish go to?
Here are some types of freshwater lures in category's:
1. Jigs
2. Crankbait
3. Stickbait
4. Topwater
5. Spoon
6. Spinnerbaits/Inline Spinners
7. Soft plastic
8. Rattle-Trap or "Rattle Baits"
As a new fisherman you should concentrate on the Soft Plastic, Stickbait & Inline Spinner category's.
Why?
Soft plastic's- This category catches the most fish. (Period) More Bass/Crappie/Panfish/Walleye are taken on Soft plastic's than ANY other type of lure.
For Bass- Plastic Worms, Lizzards, "Senkos", Etc. You will need some "offset" hooks in size 3/0-4/0, (Gamakatsu being a good brand). You will want to rig-up your Senko's & worms "Texas-Style".
Some good brands to purchase??- Berkley Powerbait (or "Gulp"), Gary Yamamoto "Senko", Zoom, YUM, Culprit, Etc.
Crappie- Small 1" Soft Plastic Tubes and 3" plastic Grub-body's with a jig take more Crappie than any other lure. Add a "Jig Spinner" or just purchase a "Beetle Spin" for a different presentation. Brands??- Berkley, Zoom, YUM, Etc.
Trout- Small Berkley "Trout Worms" can be VERY effective! As are Berkley "Trout Nuggets".
Stickbaits- One of the most famous lure's of all time is the original Rapala Floating Minnow! There is a reason it is still famous. It still WORKS!
Bass, Bluegill, Trout, Crappie, Northerns, Walleye, all will take a Rapala!
Inline Spinners- Bass, Trout, Crappie, Walleye, Salmon, Etc. Almost everything will eat a Mepps inline spinner!
Inline spinners are esp deadly on Trout!
Concentrate your wallet on these 3 lure types before going out and buying 40 lures from each category.
Many a fish has been taken by a young fisherman with only 1-2 bags of Plastic worms, a couple Rapala's, and 2 or 3 inline spinners!
CATFISH- Catfish CAN be caught with lures but it is usually an accident. If you want to catch a mess of Cats you must use a Bait.
Baits for a begginer- Old Hotdogs, Old cheese, Nightcrawlers fished on the bottom, Etc. There are as many good baits for Cats as there are category's of lures!
Hope this helps? Good luck!
PS- If your not on a budget Jigs would be another good choice for Bass, Crappie, Walleye, & general panfish!
Planer boards have been around a long time and questions about how to use them abound. Anglers for the most part have the basic idea that planer boards exist to help spread lures out, or to avoid spooking fish. This is the most popular application, however, we find other situations where using a planer board will help take your trolling to a new level.
Â
The first situation comes with wave action and running spinners. Any time you're trolling bottom bouncers with spinners and the wind is kicked up a bit, be sure to get some spinners out on planer boards. The surging action of the little board compared to the boat will give your spinners a decided fluttering action. This can drive big walleyes absolutely nuts. Use Gulp! Crawlers for the boards so you're not constantly reeling in to check your live crawler.Â
Â
An easy way to gauge the line length from the board to the spinner is to simply use a one ounce bottom bouncer. Take the depth you want the spinner to run and double it. That's how much line you need from the bouncer to the board at traditional spinner speeds of around 1.3 MPH.Â
Â
If walleyes show a preference for your steady spinners held in the rod holders then switch to snap weights and longer line lengths from your spinner to the weight. This takes undulation out of the spinner.
Â
Another instance occurs when trolling along rocky shorelines with crank baits. Long 10 or 12 foot rods are preferred here, since we can control the baits better or clean off debris quicker. However, in some lakes you need to keep the boat 20 or 30 feet away from shore to saturate that prime first break line while your shallow bait swims along in a couple feet of water up next to the rocks. With this instance you only need 6 to 10 feet out from the board to the crankbait.
Â
Another example of using planer boards for maximum success occurs over a developing weed bed. Sometime in late May to late June you get a dynamite walleye bite in developing weed beds. The best weed flats will be large areas and the weeds will come 5 or 6 feet off the bottom in 12 or 15 feet of water. What this means is you'll only need 20 or 30 feet of line out from your crank bait to the planer board to keep your baits above the weeds. Using the long rods in this case can cost you fish, because these waters remain very clear and like I said earlier, the best flats will be large areas. You don't want to spook fish with the boat and your goal is to spread baits out over the flat to find the hotspot. Be sure to experiment with crankbaits and spinners when using planer boards. Always pay attention to whether long rods or planer boards will be the best way to attack your particular situation.  Â

The sheriff arrested Marjorie Simms for the robbery of New Town Bank. “Simms fits every description of the eyewitnesses at the crime scene—a short, thin, middle-aged woman,” notes Sheriff Johnson. Simms is an employee at All Park Bank, across the road from New Town Bank. Her employer says, “It is impossible that Marjorie could have committed this crime. The robbery occurred at 4:00 in the afternoon, and at that time, Marjorie was here in a staff meeting with her coworkers.”
Sheriff Johnson believes he has the right woman in custody. He says, “Simms works at All Park bank, the main competitor of New Town Bank. She must have wanted to do in the competition.” It should be noted that, in fact, the two banks are owned by the same company.
In this paragraph what statements are inaccurate? How do you know?
sorry its so long
another question- How might you convince the sheriff to change his views?
Well if both banks are owned by the same company than robbing New Town bank would lower profits for the entire company, including All park bank. She would essentially be hurting herself. Plus if she has an alibi than she couldn't really be considered and all banks have security cameras so that would have shown her at her bank at the time of the robbery.

If you are new to the world of bass fishing, this article is for you. In it I will discuss some of the more popular and effective bass fishing lures on the market. If any of them aren't a part of your bass fishing repertoire, they should be added sooner rather than later. These are some of the best bass fishing lures available to bass anglers.
If you were to list the "top ten" bass fishing lures, the lures listed below would most certainly be on that list. Which one is the best of all of these options? It's impossible to say, because at the end of the day the best lure for bass is probably different for every angler.
Try all of these options and find the one that feels and works the best for you. The point is that there is no "magic" formula when it comes to fishing. Spend as much time as you can on the water and before you know it you'll have your own "favorite bass fishing lure".
The Plastic Worm - The plastic worm is certainly one of the best known lures used for bass of all time, and for good reason. There are many ways of fishing a plastic worm from the 'Carolina Rig' to the 'Wacky Rig'. The plastic worm market has been revolutionized by the Berkley Company with there development of Gulp and Alive products. These fishing baits look and perform just like plastic and have been impregnated with fish attracting scents. Many anglers say that these products even out fish live bait.
The Crank Bait - Crank Baits are any bait that is cast out and reeled in and imitates a bait fish. Crank Baits come in every size and color imaginable. They biggest key with crank baits (in my opinion) is that they appear as lifelike as possible. You want your crank bait to look like the forage that the bass normally eat. One of the best bass fishing lures that imitate a bait fish is the Kicktail Minnow. Some others would include the Shad Rap, the Bagley Killer B, and the Bomber Model A.
The Top Water Lure - Top water lures are very effective for bass. They key to using a top water fishing lure is to make sure that they water is completely flat. The more the water that you're fishing is like glass, the better for top water fishing. One of the most popular and effective top water bass lures of all time is the Jitterbug. Some others would include the Heddon Zara Spook and the Rebel Bumble Bug.
The Spinner Bait - Spinner baits are a great fishing lure for these fish. These lures work well for all types of bass. The important thing is to match the size of the spinner bait to the bass that you're fishing for. In other words if you're fishing for smallmouth bass use a smaller spinner bait, largemouth bass use a larger spinner bait. The point of the matter is that spinner baits are one of the best bass fishing lures available.
As I said earlier, the lures above are some of the best fishing lures that can be used for bass. If any of them aren't in your tackle box you probably want to add them. All of these lures will help you catch more bass on your next fishing trip.

Should I order a custom made lycra suit a centimeter less in each measurement so it stretches to skin tight?
I am ordering a zentai suit custom made off the internet.
I don't want it to look baggy so I wish to know if I should shrink my measurements by a centimeter so that it stretches to fit snugly
I'd order the right size, it's designed to be tight........
I just bought a Rapala x-rap slash bait, an orginal floater, and a original sinker. All crankbaits. Where could i fish these and be succesful in a place near North Reading, Massachussettes?
ever rapala is special for different thing. if your going for bass i love the countdown in silver for in oliver green muddler. but for any other fish the shad rap in walleye baby bass and in perch do very well good luck.

When collecting Chinese antique snuff bottles, one can choose to collect glass, porcelain, bottles made from organic materials (such as amber or coral), or perhaps the inside painted bottles, but there is sure to be a time when one will decide to collect, or at least add some hardstone bottles.
Hardstone bottles can be found in a variety of materials such as jade, quartz, chalcedony, hair crystal, tourmaline and many more. There are some wonderful shapes and colours to be found and even some stone bottles have images, or pictures, formed from the natural inclusions found in the rock.
When studying auction catalogues one will now and then come across, within the description of antique stone bottles, the comment ‘well hollowed’ just as when discussing bottles with a dealer this term will also be used. When this comment is missed beware, as all good antique stone bottles should be ‘well hollowed’ and if they are not then suspect they are fakes!
Antique Chinese snuff bottles were made to be used and had to be well hollowed, to hold sufficient snuff, this raises the question how well hollowed is ‘well hollowed’? Most good antique bottles are considered well hollowed if the bottle will hold a good portion of snuff and does not feel too heavy. Remember, as a guide, they were often worn in the sleeve. But the most valuable finest stone snuff bottles are exceptionally hollowed out, so much so, that they often look like they have been blown (like glass). These are referred to as ‘eggshell thin’ or ‘floaters’ because although they were carved out of a rock they are so well hollowed, that they will float in water!
These stone bottles are examples of amazing skill, because all the hollowing out has been performed through a very small hole in the neck of the bottle. Even the areas we refer to as the shoulders of the bottle (these are most difficult areas to hollow out), have to be very thin, for the bottle to trap enough air to make it float.
There are some wonderful jade bottles that float, yet jade is one of the hardest stone to carve, not only is it an exceptionally hard material but it also has certain weaker points where it can easily fracture.
Having shown a couple of bottles (one well hollowed the other not) to lapidary workers, equipped with all the most modern cutting and drilling tools, to find out if they could change the poorly hollowed out bottle, into a well hollowed one and what it would cost. Not one would take on the task and the general view was, that even if they tried, the cost would be considerable, due to the time it would take them, but in addition no one would accept the risk involved, of possibly ruining the bottle in the process!
The explanation of how these antique stone bottles were originally carved and so well hollowed out, were all down to years of experience and the slow labour of love, where the carver did everything by hand without any thought about how much time it took.

If I have an idea that would make a great tee-shirt, should I file a patent, trademark or copyright?
I want to protect my rights to the entire shirt, which is just a shirt with words on it. Please cite your answer!
ok patents are out - there only really applicable when you have created a new technical development.
trademarks - if the words on the shirt are intended to be a trademark eg 'just do it' or 'nike' both trademarks of Nike then you can trademark the name / slogan in respect of t-shirts and clothing. If you want to get a trademark you need to apply to the registry and pay a fee. Until this time you can use the TM logo next to the words you wish to act as your trademark to alert others but it is illegal to use the r in a circle until it is registered.
copyright
This is probably your best intellectual property right as you automatically get copyright in an original material you have created (unless you are acting in your capacity as an employee). You do not need to pay any fees or fill forms to register it. In order to let people know it is copyrighted you can use the c in a circle sign.
If you need more information see www.patent.gov.uk, here you can find formms to register

Every holiday season can be marked or made special by a specific t shirt design based on that theme. You can have a tee shirt design for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Father's day or Mother's day, Halloween or even T shirt designs that proclaim your patriotism; Independence Day t shirts for instance!
Christmas t shirt designs are extremely popular and designers go all out to be really creative for the season of good cheer to all mankind. How about this one: a cheery bear is dressed up as Santa Claus with his bag full of gifts and with the words 'Have a beary merry Christmas'. Sure to coax a smile from the Scroogiest of people!
Then there is the more risque Christmas related tee shirt design such as this one: The illustration is that off a distinctly worse for wear Santa who seems to have passed out from rather too much indulgence of good cheer, bottle clutched in hand indicative of exactly what kind of good cheer; and the caption underneath reads, 'Santa Went to Town'! And then here is a very adult letter to Santa made into a t shirt design: 'Dear Santa, What I want for Christmas is all the girl's phone numbers off the naughty list'. One simply says, 'Kiss-mas', to indicate the season of love and brotherhood.
A Christmas themed t shirt design is a very popular choice for the holiday season, both as something to wear to enter into the holiday spirit as well as to give to friends and family as a gift. You can proclaim a child-like belief in the spirit of Christmas with a t shirt design such as this one: the archetypal cheery Santa's face beams up at you, with the simple message thereof: 'I believe'. Then again the t shirt design does not even have to have any words to convey the message of good tidings for the season. A cheerful snowman in his trademark striped muffler aptly conveys a message.
Children are perhaps those that enjoy Christmas the most and enter in to the spirit of the holidays with the most gusto! The thrill of anticipation of Father Christmas's arrival is something that a child would love wear in the form of a t shirt. A tshirt design that says quite simply but pithily, 'Dear Santa, I can explain.....' or one that is also addressed to the jolly old man and says, 'Dear Santa, Define Good!' would be a great choice for a naughty preschooler who is hoping that he or she was good enough to get lots of presents!
And if everyone is decked up in Christmas finery, why would your dog be left behind? 'Deck the Halls with Balls' says one t shirt designed specifically for your furry friend of the canine variety.
Then again Christmas T shirts don't necessarily mean t shirts with holiday themes, it may simply mean that you get a good big discount for the holiday season! So the holidays may be a good time to be t shirt shopping.
Participate in a tshirt design contest and win cash prizes. Design t shirts and submit to InkFruit. If your design wins, it will be mass produced by us with your name on the tag. Companies can also order corporate t shirts for events.

Hummingbird fish finders and fishing systems are built the way you have always wanted them to be. They provide a comprehensive picture of your angling environment and offer newer technologies. Settling for any other ordinary fish finder would be a risk that you can ill afford
